My name is Giandomenico, a life-long passionate of high fidelity.
It all started from the passion I nurtured over many years of listening to the most diverse types of audio reproduction systems, which led me to listen to a pair of QUAD electrostatic devices. In many ways it was a revelation, despite its many well-known limitations.
When I listened to the first Acoustat Monitor 4 with OTL amplifier, I felt that the limitations were not that big. I have listened to and collected several Acoustat models that have become my listening companions.
In the meantime, I developed the desire to understand this technology and I began to dream and subsequently to implement in practice various solutions to overcome the limitations of the system. The road was very rocky, so I began looking for those rare people who had my same fire and passion about acoustics.

After years of research, failures, and sleepless nights, I was able to find Diego, a person who not only shared my same passion but who also has the technical skills and innovative curiosity to think outside the box and create something absolutely new.
Our partnership allowed us to think about “rethinking” the whole electrostatic diffuser system. The main and fundamental condition was, and is, the impossibility of maintaining the quality of the signal by controlling an electrostatic cell through any amplifier-speaker interface. Hence the decision to build only electrostatic amplified speakers.
The amplifier required an innovative approach leading to the design of circuits that are not found in known systems since it must power the electrostatic cell which requires voltages on the order of thousands of Volts.
The electrostatic cells themselves have been redesigned using modern technologies that allow to maintain the necessary distances between the electrodes and made with military standard materials.
This represents a small part of all the efforts necessary to arrive at the finished product which culminated in the creation of something absolutely innovative and unprecedented in the field of audio reproduction.
The completion of the project came with the entry of a third player, Gian Antonio, who after listening at my house to a pair of Acoustat, became the passionate owner of a couple of Acoustat himself. Having learned about the new project from the very beginning, he decided to participate with his great experience in the
commercial arena.
